Sorry for the unplanned hiatus. I don’t really have an excuse. I have many! But that’s just what they are, excuses. I just haven’t felt like posting.
At first I was still writing reviews though, so I have plenty to post. I’m redoing the way I review now to make them shorter and more to the point.
In that spirit I won’t ramble at you. See you soon!
Books I’ve read since you last heard from me: The entire Dark Hunters series by Kenyon, (and Chronicles of Nick her YA) the entire Argeneau series by Sands, and 11 books in the Love at Stake series by Sparks. I’ve been on a paranormal romance kick this summer.
So far this month I’ve read part of three books… I blame Netflix! My latest kick is Vampire Diaries.
What was the last show you binged?
(I might not be able to do this whole short thing..)
Molly, you’re back! Yay! I’ve missed you. It sounds like you’ve been busy. I’m about 4books behind on in The Dark Hunters series. I haven’t read Invision yet. Was it good? I love the Vampire Diaries. I can’t believe this season is the last. I’m going to miss Damon. The last two shows I binged were also on Netflix: Stranger Things and Penny Dreadful. NETFLIX IS EVIL!🙋🏻
Aw! Thank you! Yeah, the last few Dark Hunters haven’t been as good. I haven’t read Invision yet either because I heard it ends in a cliffhanger! I just get into Vampire Diaries and they cancel it. Doesn’t look good for Originals either, they cut this season in half. I haven’t seen stranger things (yet) but I watched one episode of Penny Dreadful. I wasn’t wowed, but it could’ve been my mood. Nice talking to you again! 😁
I wonder if The Dark Hunters series is just going on too long? One of my favorite series is The Darkest London series by Kristen Callihan, ended in June with it’s 6th book. I was sad to say goodby, but I was glad she ended things on a high note. BTW, I think you might like this series Molly.
I was shocked the CW is making The Originals a mid-season replacement! It’s one of their most popular series. They seem to really be focusing their attention on the Super Heroes, which I like, but I also love their more spooky shows like my beloved Supernatural and the vamp shows.
I was a little iffy on Penny Dreadful at first, but was completely hooked by the end of the 2nd episode! You’ve got to watch Stranger Things though. I’ll be flabbergasted if you don’t fall in love with that!
I was thinking she was making Dark Hunters too long too but I really liked Guardian. I hate it when a series ends! So often I put off the last book, just so it’s not over! Thanks, I’ll have to add Darkest London to my list.
I was surprised that they cut it short too. Both Originals and Grimm got the cut. I like CW’s superheroes, but they aren’t nearly as good as their fantasy! Supernatural was finally good again on the second half of last season. I missed the monster of the week.
I’ll have to give Penny a second shot after I run out of Vampires. I don’t even know what Stranger Things is about, but I keep hearing it mentioned. Yay! New shows to watch! Thanks!
I can’t believe they’re ending Grimm too! And only giving it 13 episodes. I think that’s my favorite paranormal themed show behind Supernatural. I just saw a trailer for the new season of Supernatural and it books really promising! I can’t wait to see Mary kicking butt with her boys, and then there’s Rick Springfield as Lucifer!😄
Grey’s Anatomy! 🙂
I don’t even know how many times I’ve binged Grey’s. It’s one of the rare shows that everyone in my house likes!
Definite good one. I can watch reruns over and over.
Hey Molly, welcome back!
Thanks Patrick! 😁
I feel your struggle, I get so caught up in other things! And I sit there binge watching (YouTube at the moment), knowing I need to stop procrastinating and get a blog post up… I’ll never be annoyed at other bloggers who do the same 😛 Looking forward to seeing more posts!
I’m so happy to see you posting again! I love reading your reviews!!
Sissy!! I didn’t know you read my reviews! 😁 Thank you!
I understand the binge watching! I’m pretty addicted to Person of Interest right now and I’m crazy excited that Netflix just added the new season *squeals*!
It’s great to have you back!
MOLLY! This makes me oh so happy! I am SO GLAD that you are back! Have you watched Season 3 of The 100? That is the last show I have binged. I am back to Season 1 again 😉 I am so glad you have some reviews ready and will be posting again, this makes my day!!
It sure has been some time 😀
Netflix is evil, it is why I didn’t get as much read over the summer as I would have liked! 😛
So happy to see you again and glad you are doing well. I love TVD, well, at least until this last season and then I stopped watching but it is a good show.
Hooray, I am so happy to see you back!
Missed you
Glad you are back! The last show I binge watched was Lost. I just finished it last month and loved it. So great that there were so many shows for me to watch. 🙂
I haven’t done a lot of reading this year, so I understand. Although, I can’t really use binge-watching TV shows as an excuse. I don’t do a lot of that. Last one I watched was the third season of Transparent, although it took a few days to get through the episodes, so I’m not sure if that counts as binge-watching.
I could have sworn I posted on this so now I feel awful that I some how didn’t. I’m so glad you are back and it is so good to see you!!
No worries! I could’ve sworn that you did too! My blog’s been wonky lately. Thanks! 😁
It’s tough to keep up with blogging sometimes but nice to hear from you, Molly! I’ve watched a lot of Food Network shows 😉
I’m sorry, but I LOVE this post. You are fab please check out my aptly named Lets Get Bookish Blog on https://letsgetbookish.wordpress.com If you want another way to make bookish friends!
Nice to have you back. I binged on “The Mentalist” recently. If the guy, Patric Jane, was more honest, I could totally relate to him. He’s always smiling his way through painful memories. I get that, totally. Probably most people do. 🙂
